Telenovelas are very popular in the Philippines. Telenovelas are soap operas that are aired in episodes over a limited time frame. Since most Filipinos are hooked on telenovelas, there are no big hindrances when it comes to marketing them. Usually television advertisements do the trick. Once a telenovela is advertised, people start anticipating its airing.

Other marketing and promotion strategies include actors and actresses of the said telenovela guesting in various shows in one television network to promote the soap opera. Marketing tools such as telenovela merchandise may also be used in the promotions.
