Also, receiving an award is both a fulfilment and an advantage on the part of the celebrity. It is a fulfilment for not everybody in the industry has the opportunity to be awarded with such. Also, it is an advantage for award-winning actors and actresses are those that are considered a cut above the rest. There are more projects for them and usually, these are the good and the most expensive ones. On the contrary though, many controversies arise when it comes to awarding events: bias judgments, unfair voting, if there is, simple cheating or even weak popularity can absolutely change the results.
