Action movies are the ones that satisfy our eyes with movies full of fighting scenes, dangerous stunts by professionals of course, and those impossible shooting scenes and cars crashes. Philippine movies are never a step behind when it comes to gadgets, scene props, camera, and explosion effects. Although this genre had come a long way, it reached the point where it is one of the most awaited film in the country.
The country’s contemporary action movies have developed its own innovation of the movie’s technicalities, plot and the script. Another key to the film’s success is the casting and the chosen actors. Action Movies require skills, talents, and not just merely acting. Famous action stars went through thorough physical training and learn fighting techniques. The challenge lies on how to apply those fighting stunts they have learned through acting. Although action movies are quite expensive to film, they are all worth everything. It is very fulfilling to see a lot of people wait and support action films in the Philippines, not to mention how people idolize the actors and actresses in a certain movie.
Robin Fernando Cariño Padilla
When you are given the privilege to announce that Mr. Robin Padilla is paying a visit to promote a movie or something, expect all ears and eyes on you. This influential man is known to be the “Bad Boy” in Philippine Cinema specialty in action films. He had his break in 1985 when the movie, “Public Enemy Number 2” was introduced to the Filipinos. Although this is a comedy film, Robin Padilla surely enhances his acting skills early. He is popular in performing dangerous stunts and prefers doing it unedited and bare. He suggests that movies of these kinds should be natural as possible.
While the hot spot was still on him, he was arrested for illegal possessions of firearms and was released by the year 1998. Upon his release, there are still projects in lined for him.
